Walkbout International Group: Management company for all companies, investments and business outside the Caribbean.

Walkbout Companies

  • Locally registered company with Walkbout International as the major shareholder
  • Local Partner and entrepreneur(s) will take up a minority stake funded via cash or other tangible and quantifiable sweat equity, or joint venture assets.
  • Local Partner and entrepreneur designed Walkbout Territory Manager of Location President and CEO, based on the final agreement reached, and the extent of the involvement of the Local Partner and entrepreneur

There are three tiers of power in a Walkbout corporation:

  1. The shareholders, who are the owners of the company;
  2. The directors, who run the company and are responsible for the its overall management;
  3. The officers who handle the day-to-day matters of the company as well as carry out the directors’ decisions and policies.

The appointing of officers is done by the Board of Directors of the company.
The most notable officer titles are President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. However, if required, the board can appoint other officers, such as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), managers or any other title the board wishes to create.

The Walkbout Foundation
In addition to its support of environmental activities, The Walkbout Foundation encourages travel as a way of developing human capacity and experiences. As such each year Walkbout Foundation will sponsor and support a number of Junior Walkbouts to take trips to destinations around the world. This is to be funded through a percentage of Walkbout net revenues each year.

Junior Walkbouts
Funded through a percentage of Walkbout net revenues each year, Junior Walkbouts are afforded a unique opportunity to enjoy and experience diverse cultures, foods and beverages, people, history etc on an international stage.

The Walkbout Foundation partners with local youth organizations from around the world to identify and nominate young adults who are invited to submit a five-minute video essay outlining who they are, which country and experience they would like, why they should be considered for the trip and what they expect to take away from the experience.
