Walkout’s Black River Safari & YS Falls Experience allows for the Exploration of Jamaica’s Largest River.

Discover the beauty of the South Coast with a 1 1/2-hour motor boat tour up Jamaica’s largest navigable river and through what is Jamaica’s largest wetland area. Our journey takes us six miles up the river and return, during which a running commentary is given by your captain/tour guide on both the ecology and the history of the area. Over 100 species of birds have been recorded in the Black River morass and many are seen during your trip.

The highlight of the Black River is the thrill of sighting a crocodile and watching them being fed from your boat.

Nestled within a secluded valley on the less travelled South Coast of Jamaica, YS Falls is located on a working cattle and horse farm – YS Estate. This most unique and magnificent seven- tiered waterfalls – is just picture perfect. Take a refreshing dive or just relax in the cool mineral pool.

Depending on what happens at our last stop, the departure time will vary. Like all Walkbout branded tour and activity experiences, the start and finish are somewhat set. However, what happens between and the sequence of events are dependent on the group preference. So, if the group wants to skip an activity and spend more at a particular spot, then that’s what will happen.
